In view of the increasing popularity of motor vehicles of all kinds and partieularly motor coaches, in transporting raeegoers to and from the various race meetings up and down the country, the question arises whether the time has not arrived when the owners of the courses should not provide large cementcovered sites on which the vehicles can be parked.

Holidaying in the neighbourhood of the Folkestone racecourse at Westenhangce last week, we were interested to Trott the variety of vehicles which, by the way, oame not only from London, but Ramsgate, Margate, Hastings, Maidatone, Folkestone, Hythe, Ashford and other places—among them being 'examples of Austin, Crossley, Daimler, Dennis, Fiat, Ford, Karrier, Lancia, Reo, Star, Thoriaycroft,. talc, Vulcan and Wolseley make.

Unfortunately heavy rain prevailed op both the race days, with the result that many of the vehicles were " hogged " and only hauled out with dIfficultya trouble which would have been obviated if 'suitable parking sites had been provided.
