Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A few days ago the General Vehicle Co., Ltd., in conjunction with the North Metropolitan Electric Power Co., carried out an all-electric publicity campaign in Hertford and the surrounding towns. The vehicle and its. equipinent are well shown in the accompanying illustration.

It isa standard G.V. 10-ton sixwheeled tractor-trailer combination, the battery being a G.V. Phileo, type 25, consisting of 44 cells of 360 amp-hour capacity. The platform was built on to the chassis by Mr. Smith, the resident engineer at Hertford, who also staged his exhibit, the majority of which were in actual use; for instance, a chef was at work at the cooker, fans were revolving and a lady demonstrator was ironing, whilst the small unit at the back of the vehicle, representing power, was in use.

Not only was this uuusual vehicle run during the day, but also at night, the effect during the dark hours being particularly good, as the lighting was done by means of a large number of electric lights of different colours.
