The new 2-ton Saurer chassis designed to be mounted on pneumatic tyres, referred to by us in our last issue, will have a new engine fitted with overhead valves operated by push rods. It will be equipped with friction brakes on the rear wheels, front-wheel brakes and the Saurer patent engine brake. The vehicle will make its first appearance at the Commercial Motor Show.
