The Daimler Co., of Marienfelde, have just produced a new four-wheel drive machine, which is a combined haulage and carrying unit. It has a four-cylinder engine with a bore of 150 ram, and a stroke of 170 mm., and
develops 100 h.p. at 1,200 r.p.m. A special form of gearbox provides eight forward and two reverse speeds. The machine is said to be capable of carrying loads up to three tons, and pulling two or three 4-ton trailers.
