The Editor, THE COMMERCIAL MOTOR.
[2412] Sir,—With reference to the paragraph in your "One Hears" column of your issue of August 11th, I note you state that Glasgow may prove to be Britain's first all-motorbus city. I think this statement can scarcely be correct, seeing that Oxford is, 1 believe, the city in this country to be entitled to the claim of being the first. Mr. W. R. Morris, of Morris Motors, Ltd., was mainly responsible for Oxford abolishing trains and substituting motorbuses therefor, and I think that all motor drivers passing through Oxford must be grateful to him accordingly.—Yours faithfully, Plymouth. F. G. BARTON.
