Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

PSV CERTIFICATION FOR TEMPO 100 • The Department of Transport has changed the procedure for obtaining certification for Tempo 100. Applicants should now apply direct to the PSV Centre at Swansea, and not to their local certifying officer. There is a new application form (PSVC 1) which can be obtained from the PSV Centre, Welcombe House, The Strand, Swansea, Glamorgan SA1 2DH.

PSV operators should also note that there is provision on the latest application form for a fee to be charged. Currently Tempo 100 vehicle examination is free, but it is likely that a fee will be introduced later this year. For details call the Dip on (0792) 458888, ext 271.

Coach operators sending vehicles into Germany must have their vehicles certificated to Tempo 100 if they are to be used at speeds above 80km/h.

HUNGARIAN LIMITS ON BRIDGES • TIR operators running into Hungary are warned that due to repair work on a bridge near Sopron, heavy trucks weighing more than 20 tonnes GVW are prohibited from using a stretch of the Nr 84 national road.

Hauliers affected by the restriction should use the road leading to the AustroHungarian border post at Deutschkreuz/Kophaza, to the south of Sopron.
