Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Volvo and Scania vehicles pulling tandem-axle box and tilt trailers to Italy, Austria and Germany. Each vehicle has twin wheels fitted to the lifting rear axle which is operated via a dashboard-mounted switch.

The kerb weight of the R112 is 6,856kg (6 tons 15cwt), which includes oil, water and 20 litres of fuel, but no spare wheel or driver, Kerb weight for the middle-height cab P112M 6x2 RS28 is 6,787kg (6 tons 13 'Acwt) with 20 litres of fuel, oil and water on board. Further weight savings can be made by specifying a day cab, as well as alloy wheels and tank.

If single wheels are run on the rear axle, these can be reversed to run in line with the inner wheels of the second axle. This provides adequate swing clearance for landing legs when coupled to various trailers.

All the vehicles, which have a wheelbase of 2.85 metres (ft 4in) and are fitted with Scania's 10-speed range-change gearbox, were supplied by Scantruck of Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire.
