Handy injector tester
THIS COMPACT screw-operated DX 700 hand-held injector tester from TI Dieseltune is small enough lobe carried in a tool box, and can even be attached directly to the injector without removing it from the engine. Claimed to be half the cost of a conventional tester, the DX 700 can determine opening pressure and nozzle backleakage with the injector either in position or removed, as well as spray pattern and nozzle-seat tightness with the injector taken out.

Stop wax clogging
EECO's Hot Line diesel system uses flat heating elements that are wrapped around a commercial vehicle fuel filters. Hot Line kits contain three elements, either 12 or 24 volt, an in-cab illuminated master switch, cables, fuse holder and Lucar electrical connectors. Total current consumption on a 12 volt system is 11.3 amps and 5.6 amps for a 24 volt unit. Cost of the Hot Line kit is £70 plus vat.
