Our advertisement people are pretty pleased with their achievements, not without some little justification I suppose, says he grudgingly. One of the reps was particularly tickled a couple of weeks ago when he received an order from a horse trainer down at Lambourne.
You possibly thought you were reading Horse & Hound if your eye happened to fall on Stan Mellow's ad where he was offering for sale a racehorse which pounds the dirt under the name of Four Star.
Stan was suggesting that it would be an ideal buy for an oil or a transport company to increase their advertising and staff interest. If the price of fuel keeps rising it might prove to be a very good tractive unit!
