THE Freight Transport Association is ready for the compulsory changeover to EEC type drivers' record books on October 31, with ample supplies of books available.

In addition to the information required by law all FTA drivers' record books contain a 'daily vehicle defect report plus space for other non-statutory information. FTA record book prices (per 10 books) are 30-day duplicate ; £5.25; 15-day duplicate £3.65; 15-day single sheet £2.80. For large orders there is a scale of : discounts. FTA record books are restricted to members.
