agreement differs from the usual of manufacture by licence, as I of this being on a royalty basis will be a substantial single pay ment; the amount has not been revealed. This will be supplemented by orders placed by Motorimport direct with Leyland for large quantities of finished engine components which will serve as stocks for engine assembly. The supply of components will decrease gradually as production of them in Poland increases. The agreement should also lead to exports of British machine tools to equip the Polish engine factories with similar plant to that which is employed at Leyland.
