SPEAKING at the winding up conference at the Export Services Exhibition at Olympia last week, Mr. Douglas Jay. president of the Board of Trade, paid tribute to the growing importance of roll-on/roll-off ferry services =n
the nation's export drive. And to a question about the efficiency of the Customs clearance of goods, inwards and outwards, the president said that constructive and specific ideas for improved procedures were welcomed and would be carefully considered.
