Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

for Next Year

MHE well-known Goliath parcelcars, which have now become so popular with certain classes of motor-vehicle user, are to continue, in the forthcoming year, in their present forms, although in January next a ne* model is to be added to the range. This will be a 10-cwt. vehicle, and will be shaftdriven, this machine supplementing t h e present chain-driven pattern of Goliath. The price of the 10 cwt. chain-driven model With an open truck body, without electric lighting, is 1107 10s., that with a box-van body being priced at £110, also without a lighting set.

We are informed that the cost of the shaft-driven machine will not be more than a little in advance of the present machine with chain-transmission system. The nevi model will embody electric lighting as a standard fitting, and will incorporate the latest improvements in pareelcar design. At a small extra cost, a windscreen and effective canopy may be obtained, Splintex safety glass being employed. The

mechanical details will be practically the same as in the ease of the Rapid model, which was described in our issue dated April 23rd, except that a gearbox providing three forward speeds and a reverse is to be employed. Care has also been taken to ensure that the rear wheel is extremely accessible.

Goliath Motors, Ltd., of 2, 3 and 4, Midland Road, King's Cross, London, N.1, tells us that it insists upon Goliath parcelears undergoing a long, period of road experience on the Continent before it imports the machines into this country.

The Glasgow agent for Goliath vehicles is James Miller, Son and Co., Ltd., 5, West Regent Street, Glasgow, C.2. In the Irish Free State these machines may be obtained from, Mr. G. T. Herbert, The Garage, Henrietta Street, Waterford. Ireland, whilst in Manchester W.' H. Knibb and Son, Ltd., of Tipping Street, Ardwiek, Manchester, is the agent.
