• Events organiser Live Promotions is pressing ahead with plans for a London rival to the Birmingham Motor Show in 1992.
The company's owner Colin Ward (he has no connection with the transport consultant of the same name) says he has spent the past few weeks looking at locations in the capital. He has already ruled out Earls Court, where the Motor Show was held until the 1970s.
