• Robinson Trucks, the East Anglian Scania distributor, has been sold to Scania after chairman Chris Robinson, was injured in a road accident. Scania stresses that the service from Robinson depots in Felixstowe, Harwich and Ely will not be affected by the change of ownership. Initially Vernon Broom, managing director of Scantruck, will act as managing director of the Stowmarket-based truck distributor.
