Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Because standard bus capacities of 100 or 155 have become inadequate in several French cities, Renault and Heuliez Bus are collaborating in the Megabus project. Market research indicates that there is a short-term potential for 60 to 100 such vehicles in France.

The Megabus consists of three articulated sections and should be able to transport up to 3,000 passengers per hour. Each bus has standing room for 150 and seats for 65. Trials with a prototype started in September in Bordeaux, followed by further trials in Dijon, Orleans, Nancy, Rouen, Rennes and Nice.
