In the first half of 1986, MAN sold and delivered 425 vehicles in France, 120 more than in the same period for 1985. The company expects to reach its sales target of 750 to 800 vehicles for the whole of 1986.
All over Europe, MAN's sales show a similar pattern of growth for the first half of this year at around 11% on average, although the market in West Germany is currently depressed with sales growth of only 2% to 3%.
