YORK TRAILERS FOR GHANA: The Ministry of Transport in Ghana has ordered 55 Model W2, 12-ton platform trailers worth £45,000 from the York TrailerCo. Ltd. York will also .build nine tandem-axle Teamster platform trailers for Flowers Brewery Ltd.

SCAMMELL TRAILERS TO ASSIST RAIL REPLACEMENT: Because of the increased need for road vehicles following the closure of the railways in Mauritius. Scammell agent Rogers and Co. Ltd., of Mauritius. has ordered a further 12 Scammell 13/14-ton fifth-wheel coupling semi-trailers. They will be supplied as chassis only, and operated with Leyland Super Comets as matched outfits.

305 FOR NIGERIA: The British West African Corporation Ltd. has just placed a contract worth over 1'600,000 for 305 Albion and Leyland diesel-engined.goods chassis for Nigeria. It covers 175 Leyland Comets, 300 Albion Chieftain Super Six models and 30 Albion Super Reivers.

100-PASSENGER BUSES: Compagnie Generale lndustrielle de Transport, of Lille, has ordered 42 Brossel A92 DARL singledeck buses powered by rear-mounted Leyland 0.400 diesel engines and having hilly automatic gearboxes, air suspension and hydraulically assisted steering. The Jonekheere bodies will have 28 seats and room for 72 standees.
