Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IN addition to the new 24-ton trac tive unit and 20-ton-gross double-drive six-wheeler, described on pages 101-103, Dodge Brothers (Britain) Ltd., Kew, announce that three of their normalhaulage four-wheeled models are now available with additional wheelbase lengths. In the case of the D.308 8-tonner and the D.310 10-tonner, an 11-ft. 8-in.-wheelbase model has been introduced for use with 13-ft. 6-in.-long tipping bodies, this being the fourth alternative wheelbase for these two models. The makers state that the new wheelbase gives improved load distribution with 13-ft. 6-in, bodies, and allows the maximum payload to be carried in a low-sided body.

An 11-ft 8-in. version of the D.309 9'5tonner has been introduced at the same time, this again being specifically for tipper use, whilst another wheelbase addition for this model is a 17-ft. 9-in, version, the recommended body length for which is 22 ft. 6 in.

Cam-operated full-air-pressure brakes are now available throughout the D.308, D.309 and D.310 ranges as an extra, but only when a two-speed axle is fitted.
