-axle Semi-trailer, a 3-ton Lorry and Two Other Chassis

AN important exhibit is the Mercedes-Benz oil-engined, tractor, which is shown with a Carrimore articulated twin-axle attachment; the weight of the outfit is under 7 tons and the pay-load capacity is 15 tons. The tractor is powered by a six-cylin&red oil engine having a bore and stroke of 110 mm. and 130 mm. respectively, The Mercedes-Benz Patent precombustion system is incorporated, and 95 b.h.p. is developed at the governed speed of 2,000 r.p.m. Transmission is by means of a dry-plate clutch, and an eight-speed gearbox, thence by an" open propeller shaft to a heavy-dutyrear axle. The semi-trailer has a body
length of 20 ft. and .servo brakes.
The concern's -Miracle-type chassis' with a drop-sided lorry body is also on" view: This machine is powered by a. fourscylindered oil engine, and it has a four-speed gearbox and heavy-duty 3 tons, and the machine has a wide cab , providing seating. for two passengers.
To be seen in chassis form is the Pinnacle mbdel. This is powered by a six-cylindered oil engine, the bore -and strokeof which are 110 mm. and 130' mm. respectively. An eight-speed gearbox is provided, and ' the vacuumassisted. braking. systein incorporate § a connection for a, trailer. The wheel base is 15 ft. 1 in.
