Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Words: James Clark

Company: Commercial Vehicle Asset Management Address: www.cvam.co.uk

Overview

The Commercial Vehicle Asset Management (CVAM) website, 'in association with' local dealer LJ Watkins (North Wales), is professionally designed and easy to navigate. However, it lacks the 'bells and whistles' that are now found on many other used truck sites.

Browsing through the stock list is simple. Select one of four categories from the drop-down list 7.5 Tonne', 'Rigids', 'Tractors' or 'Trailers' and click 'Search'. All relevant items are then listed, with a short description of each. This varies from vehicle to vehicle, but includes information such as year, mileage, specification and condition. A thumbnail image is also shown for many vehicles. Click on that to see a larger one.

As is often the case with used truck websites, price is on application.

At the time of writing, only a small number of vehicles were listed online, with trailers and Daf tractors dominating.

Comments

Although there isn't an image for every vehicle, CVAM says: We are happy to give a detailed description and e-mail photographs before you make the journey to our premises." So, if something takes your fancy, either contact CVAM directly by using the details given on the website or complete the online 'Contact Us' form and wait for the company to call you back.

The site also has a link to a map that will explain how to get to CVAM's Denbigh base, The CVAM site is a breeze to use and easy or the eye, but we would have liked to see a few more extra features. For example, photographs from multiple angles for each vehicle in stock, or the ability to search the stock list using keywords.
