• Food distribution firm Rick:thy & Lee Transport has won a contract worth £1.2m a year with Leeds-based dairy company MD Foods for the distribution of Long Life flavoured milk drinks.
• Logistics supplier Danzas has won a contract worth £450,000 a year to supply warehousing and distribution services to Olivetti Lexikon UK, the office equipment manufacturer.
• Central Tyre has secured a three-year contract to supply and maintain all tyre requirements for -)ichard inwson",.. commercial fleet. The fixed contract will include Pirelli premium truck tyres as the main design.
• James Ham and Sons has expanded its deal with Daf giving it 76 new vehicles. It has bought Euro-2 FT85-400s, complete with a three-year service deal. lrlam has also taken delivery of 10 new Scania 4-Series and 60 new 13.6m curtainsiders from Boalloy with Crane Fruehauf chassis.
• Cornwall County Council which operates 148 Iveco Ford Dailys and 80 Cargos as part of its 1,500-strong vehicle and plant fleet, has extended its contract with iveco Ford for three years.
