The following is the procedure which must be followed in such cases :—(1) Refunds may be made only to employees who are to continue in civilian employment, not to those joining H.M. Forces or the Merchant Navy ;• (2) they can be made only in respect of one or more complete and unexpired period, of three months in respect of which coupons were surrendered, of the "uniform year" remaining at the date of the employee's • departure (the first period ends August 31 this year and on the same date in each subsequent year) ; (3) application for refunds must be made to the Secretary, Public Service Transport Association, stating with each application :— (a) The uniform• garments issued to the employee, (b) date when he entered the undertaking's service, (c) the date he left, (d) the number of coupons surrendered by the employee in the " uniform year."
