• Leyland Bus managing director John Arkell is leaving at the beginning of April and will be replaced by the current director of manufacturing operations, Ivan Wheatley.
Arkell will not disclose his plans, but a company spokesman says Arkell decided to leave because the company is moving towards a primarily engineering and manufacturing operation, and Arkell's experience is in "general management with a sales and marketing emphasis".
