• A co-operative of ownerdrivers is being formed in West Yorkshire to compete against major hauliers for international work.
The group will specialise in groupage and refrigerated work to Spain and Portugal, with some national business.
It was founded by Wetherbybased JJ Reiblein Transport last December and currently has four out of a planned 10 members.
The co-operative has been set-up to try to get better rates and stop the big boys taking the cake," says founder Joe Reiblein.
