• Windsor-based flower distributor FlowerFlow has added a further 10 Leyland Daf Roadrunner 8.15s to its fleet following a successful year-long trial.
The Roadrunners have been fitted with 19ft (5.8m) two compartment insulated box bodies. The front compartment, for cut flowers, incorporates an ethylene gas scrubber to protect the flowers from deteriorating during a trip. The rear compartment includes a humidifying device to keep pot plants at a constant temperature.
