• Volkswagen has opened 97 van centres in the UK, and plans to have another 33 up and running by the end of the year, to provide parts, maintenance and roadside recovery.
"Small businessmen using vans Often feel like secondclass citizens with truck dealers, who they say, regard them as the unprofessional end of the market," says Volkswagen commercial vehicle director Robin Woolcock. "While car dealers lack the expertise to advise on the right vehicle."
1=I MAN has invested £250,000 on developing its Swindon parts warehouse, so it can offer a faster service, and expand the range and volume of stock carried.
