• The London Borough of Lambeth has ordered six Gibson compression-type refusecollection vehicles based on Bedford chassis through Croydon Automobile Co. Ltd.
All the vehicles will be of 18/27 cu.yd. capacity and fitted with hydraulic bin-lifting equipment specially designed to handle the three different types of bin in use by the authority. Total value of the order is £24,540.
• The MoT goods vehicle testing station for Glasgow has been sited at Bishopbriggs, Lanarkshire. This. is 3 miles north of the city on the GlasgowKirkihtilloch road,
