• Registrations of commercial vehicles in May reached 32,393, up 11.31% on the same month last year, according to the latest figures from the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders.
Iveco Ford still leads the truck sales league, with 6,972 registrations so far this year, just ahead of Leyland Daf with 6,849. Mercedes-Benz registrations are up over 16.5% to 4,836 trucks, and Volvo's registrations have risen by 22.8% (3,603). ERF takes fifth place in the market (1,927), while a slightly improved performance from Renault gives it sixth place (1,916).
