The incident occurred at Coopers Hill near Gloucester — famous, of course, for its annual cheese-rolling races.
Poor nine-year-old Laura Williams suffered a back injury and was taken to hospital, while eight-year-old Simon Roberts was treated for cuts after being knocked down by one of the competitors chasing after the cheese.
