Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Following the article on ourselves and Tibbett and Britten (CM 20 April), 1 would like to correct three misinterpretations. Firstly, our invitation to tender to all distributors was for the distribution of all product ex-brewery: it was not unique to the Tibbett and Britten proposal. Secondly, our previous network had used up to 25 shared warehouses but this had gradually been reduced to six.

Thirdly, my final remark was that our rivals in the TakeHome Beer Market may consider dedicated contract distribution (most of them already use contact distributors).

Les Beaumont,

Whitbread Take Home, Dorking, Surrey.
