Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• The Office of Fair Trading has nearly completed its investigation into Midland Fox, following allegations by independent operator Gilbert Kinch of Loughborough (CM 11-17 May).

Kinch claimed he was being put out of business by Fox's alleged anti-competitive practices and "predatory pricing". Fox had registered a service five minutes ahead of Kinch's and was using unmarked buses from its Fairtax subsidiary, Kinch claims.

The OFT has full costings of the Kinch operation and is expected to complete its research into Fox by the end of the month. Kinch says the OFT's rapid reaction will help him stay in business.
