• A second Hampstead Hoppa bus service starts up this week on the Hampstead Garden Suburb local service (route H2). It will join the inaugural service, also run by R&I Coaches for LRT, which runs from Golders Green to Swiss Cottage (route 268). Both contracts are for three years.
R&I has bought 10 lveco Turbodaily 49.10s with Robin Hood City Nippy 92 bodies. The Garden Suburb system will be served by 19-seaters; the higher-frequency route 268 will use 23-seaters. All vehicles will be in R&I's own livery.
Both routes remain part of the LRT bus service network, using LRT's standard fare and ticketing arrangements.
