• An air-operated trailerlanding-leg system has been launched by Busby Holdings of Pembroke Dock, Wales.
The Buzzlift Landling leg, which is designed for OE or after-market fitment, has been on operational trials for five years with five haulage companies, including Christian Salvesen's Salserve division.
The Buzzlift system converts conventional handoperated landing legs to airpowered operation with the use of a reversible motor powered by the trailer's air supply. Busby Holdings says that the system costs only a third as much as comparable hydraulic systems, and can be used on trailers operating at up to 38 tonnes.
