• Iveco increased its sales by 10% in 1988 to 129,300 units. In the UK, sales were up by 21% to 16,637 but in Germany they fell 6%.
Iveco's parent Fiat has recorded net profits of 21.3 billion and plans to spend up to ,437.5 million on its own shares to boost their value.
