FORD has established a direct computer link with one of its major parts suppliers, Bendix of Bristol.
Three terminals linked to Ford's computer centre at Warley, Essex will enable Ford's Cargo assembly plant to reduce its stock levels of Bendix brake components, improve its inventory control and readily modify brake component orders to suit changed build programmes.
