A hot-water high-pressure cleaning machine introduced by Psimat has guaranteed cleaning force at the nozzle, with the gun open and running, of 800 psi at 3 gpm provided by a mainsoperated 2 hp motor.
Known as the H2 model, it produces water at 170deg F (77deg C) which is said to be the optimum temperature for energizing detergents used in a wide range of cleaning applications. A feature of the model is it use of a non-pressurized hea exchanger. The need for stean coils is eliminated and seal/ formation is prevented. A re circulation system enables an on off gun to be used which aid flexibility and provides econom of operation.
On extensive user trials of th H2 it had an average paraffin flit consumption of below 1 gal/1which, it is claimed, is approx mately half the consumption a coil-type machine. A meterin pump adds detergent to th water to provide dilutions of per cent to 5 per cent.
Because it is designed 1 operate without a coil, tlmachine allows evacuation detergent either at the end of tlday's work or when changir from one cleaning requirement1 another. It is said that the head, tank system clears detergent 45sec compared with up to 4 min required for typical coil-tyr machines.
Easily handled by one roan, is completely automatic in opt ation while its water temperatu is electronically controlled al maintained at a predetermini level. Six fail-safe devices incorporated to ensure safety operation.
A choice of hot or cc machines is offered by company and the range incluc electric-, dieseland petr fuelled models. A specializ "crawler jet" model is design for tube, funnel and pr cleaning.
