Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

WATER-PROOFING and insulating silicone compounds have recently been introduced by Shell-Mex and B.P., Ltd. They are Shell Silicone Compound and BP Energrease CPC 42.

The two new products arc the same as those already widely used by the aircraft and electronic industries for keeping moisture out of ignition and other electrical systems, and for lubricating and preserving rubber components. Vehicle uses are waterproofing ignition systems and other electrical components, as well as for such things as door locks and rubber parts, preventing corrosion of battery terminals and protecting chromium plating.

Shell Silicone Compound and B.P. Energrease CPC 42 are available in 1 oz. tubes costing 5s. 9d. each, retail.
