Cambridgeshire-based John Walmsley has been cleared of causing death by dangerous driving after his lorry veered off the M20 in Kent, killing a motorist who had broken down on the hard shoulder. Instead Maidstone Crown Court convicted him of careless driving; Walmsley was fined £500 with six penalty points.
