T SEE that the Commercial Vehicle and Road Transport Club has successfully passed its first anniversary, though it is suffering from the same financial problems that almost all these highly commendable ventures by enthusiasts seem to encounter. Subscription income never equals (let alone exceeds) the amount required to accomplish all those worthwhile and interesting things that members would like to do. They hoped to make a national survey of transport fleets, for instance, but found it would cost £700! The newsletter which the club produces reflects the enthusiasm of the organizers and leading lights. Anyone interested in joining should write to 356 Cooksey Road, Small Heath, Birmingham 10.
