SUITABLE for tarpaulins, engine covers and so on, a new fabric from Sweden known as Galonyl 700 is being marketed by Galon Fabrics Ltd. and is available in yellow, grey, royal blue and two shades of green. Easily weldable, the fabric is made of 840 denier nylon with specially woven reinforcements and is finished with a double-sided coating of galon. It is claimed that the fabric is completely waterproof, crack and fade proof, easy to clean and resistant to chemicals. The standard width is 152 cm. (about 5 ft.).
