NEW range of low-cost, high-pressure centrifugal pumps L suitable for all wash-down applications is now available in UK. The units are manufactured in Denmark by the International andfoss Organization, while assembly, distribution and service )eing carried out at the firm's new factory at Bletchley, Bucks. Ile pumps are available as part of the Grundfoss Wash-Pack as separate units for use with existing installations. The Wash:lc comprises the pump, complete with direct coupled electric tor (which is drip-proof), an adjustable angular spray gun corn:e with hose and couplings, foot valve and strainer. Complete ish-Packs are available ranging from the CP.2-120/3, which has a v rating of 240 g.p.h. and an operating pressure of 145 p.s.i., up to CP.3-200/3 with a flow rate of 527 g.p.h. and operating pressure of 268 p.s.i. Both machines can be supplied with manifolds serving up to four guns, but these are optional extras.

The makers claim that the correct combination of flow and pressure is essential in cleaning operations and these requirements are fully served by regulating the pumps for various types of installation.
