IT was learned this week that Glas

cessionaires Ltd. is forming another company which will operate from the same office in King's Lynn, Norfolk, to import and distribute Bussing commercial vehicles and buses in the UK.
One of the principals of Glas, Mr. E. A. J. Sarre, told COMMERCIAL MOTOR that the company intends to import vehicles of all sizes up to the maximum permitted gross train weights of 32 tons and, if regulations permit and the required alterations can be made, buses also would be made available on the British market.
Bussing Automobilwerke AG, a German company with a sizeable new plant situated close to Brunswick, Northern Germany, specializes in commercial vehicles having the engine situated horizontally below the chassis frame.
The new company expects to be able to quote two weeks' delivery and Mr. Sarre can be reached at King's Lynn (code number OKL3) 2601.
The 16-ton-gross Commodore four-wheeler (seen here with sleepercab) has the Bussing horizontal engine layout, using a 210 b.h.p. 11.4-litre direct-injection diesel.
