'WHAT is believed to be the heaviest YY type of pipe transporter ever built in this country is under .construction at the works of Transport Equipment (Thornycroft), Ltd., and Cranes (Dereham), Ltd., for the Iraq PetroleumCo., Ltd., which have placed a large order for Thornyeroft tractor chassis and Crane semi-trailers.

An all-metal cab with double walls and insulated roof will be provided, and included with the special equipment will be a 30-gallon water tank, two spare wheels and tyres, engine revolution recorder, heavy channel-section front bumper, self-locking towing hooks at the front and rear, and a fitted tool box.

The chassis has been named the "Mighty Antar," after the Arabian poet, renowned for his great strength and endurance.
