If this is all you require, and you can afford its top-of-the-class price, then the Iveco is for you. It does nothing badly; in fact its chassis is well suited for the tipper set up, bringing a degree of durability that may not be found in some of its rivals, and its engine is a smooth operator with useful amounts of torque just where you want it.
The second line of thinking takes a more rounded approach. As well as shifting stuff the vehicle should be appealing to drive, both in the way it handles and rides. It should also have a pleasant environment to suit longer journeys. Modern vans and their chassis-cab derivatives have made great strides over the past five years with modern interiors and car-like handling.
The Daily might well excel in its load carrying responsibilities but in an ultra-competitive market, Mere most buyers are owner-drivers, that might not be enough — particularly at this price.
