Following the introduction of the, adjustable tubular supports for semi-trailers, tankers and demountable bodies, Dunsley Manufacturing (Kinver) Ltd, has developed five heads to suit individual requirements. There is an 8in. flat head for a single centre support; an L-shaped head for a side body support (the supports are used in pairs): a centre-lever, side-loading head designed to support a trailer that enables the tractive unit to be removed and recoupled at the same time; a king-pin support which also fits trailers fitted with an anti-jack-knife device: a spigot head suitable for certain types of tanker the control boxes on which prohibit full travel of operating arm. A four-section adjustable unit is also available for such applications.
