PA.A DEVICE for cleaning windscreens is being manufactured by the Alexander Engineering Co., Ltd., Thame Road, Haddenham. It consists of a polished wooden handle on which are mounted a sponge-rubber pad and a squeegee blade.
The Clean-a-Screen, as it is called, is dipped into water and the sponge portion is used to moisten the glass. Then the device is turned over and the squeegee is used to remove the water and dirt. The price is 75. 6d.
