2 ast year Dennis Specialist Vehicles celebrated 100 years of manufacturing at its Guildford base, beginning with lawn mowers and bicycles and continuing to its present-day production of buses, coaches and fire engines.
When Surrey Cricket Club decided to refurbish the Guildford Room at its Oval headquarters in South London, there could be few more appropriate firms to involve. Subsequently, Dennis was invited to hang its own panel, depicting its involvement with the town over a hundred years.
No doubt the Prime Minister, a South London boy himself, hopes to one day have his own room at the Oval where his legions of admirers can hang tributes. On second thoughts, a broom closet
