LEX SYSTEMLINE, the contract distribution subsidiary separated from the recently sold Lex Wilkinson parcels company, insists that it is not being sold by Lex Service.
But in a statement issued by Lex Wilkinson managing director Cohn Millbanks to distribution customers, the future of three specialist transport companies in Lex is made much clearer than last week's press notice (CM, February 1).
"You should be aware that Lex will be responsive to offers for its specialist transport companies — Bees Transport, Carpet Express and Albany Freight — from other potential acquirers who are seeking actively to develop in transportation," he says.
