Pre-test test
PCS Commercial Vehicle Services of Ipswich is now offering a quick, pre• Department of Transport HGV test brake-testing service to operators in East Anglia. The company has recently installed an electronic Tacalemit brake rester unit at its Duke Street workshops, which can handle vehicles was up to 13 tonnes axle weight. The tester's roller bed is divided to allow individual wheel testing.
Should any problems show up, PCS can rectify most faults on the spot before the vehicle is driven to the nearby DTp HGV test station.
